Rural Health Clinic Manager Who are we? An established Rural Health Clinic located in the Newport, WA. Our Clinic consists of 6 Physicians, 1 ARNP, and 3 Physician Assistants. We are located in a small rural community and provide health care to approximately 17,000 residents, including the area surrounding Priest River, Idaho. Our community is located in the northeastern corner of Washington, bordered by Idaho to the east and British Columbia, Canada to the north. The central geographic feature of the county is the forested valley carved by the Pend Oreille River. Lakes, rivers, and miles of forest and trails offer an abundance of outdoor recreation opportunities. While rural, we are also located just 45 miles north of Spokane, WA, which offers additional shopping, dining, and entertainment options. What we need: A Clinic Manager to manage all clinical operations. The qualified candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in related field. At least 3 years of management/supervisory experience in a clinical or community resource setting. Have evidence of leadership, communication, organization and counseling skills. Be experienced with health information technology systems. Show the ability to work with senior management and physicians in a collaborative manner. Have extensive knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, third party payers, billing and quality management (pay for performance) systems. Would prefer experience with Centricity electronic health records and coding knowledge. Essential functions: Responsibilities include but are not limited to provide management, planning and coordination to a rural health clinic. Be responsible for supervising all clinic staff, ensuring billing and collection procedures are followed, monitoring the delivery of patient services, planning for space allocation and acting as liaison with patients, businesses, hospitals, administration and medical staff. Will work closely with the Care Coordinator Supervisor/Providers to promote NHHS population health initiatives and will monitor necessary data collection, health outcomes reporting, and clinical audits. Position will ensure that the clinic operates in compliance with Medicare/Medicaid rules and regulations, ensuring that systems are compliant with all regulatory standards. Will participate with NHHS and its community/regional partners to proactively explore "value based purchasing" models of care and reimbursement (a.k.a.
