Competition heats up at Lucky Ladies

OLDTOWN — The reign of the Morning Glories atop the Lucky Ladies Wednesday morning bowling league here is in peril. The team continued their domination of the league standings by improving to 70-42 March 29, but are followed closely by Country Lane 68-44 and Country Lane Sparklers 67-45. In fourth place, the Golden Girls stand at 56-56, with the State Line Girls 42-70, and Ballsy Broads rounding out the pack at 30-34.

Stephanie Pitts bowled a 241 high handicap game and 637 high handicap series, while Laura O’Brien scored a 211 high scratch game and 502 high scratch series.

Converted splits included: Kelly Jo Hilliard 5-7, 2-7, Lennie Miller 5-6-10, Kim Rusho 2-7, Sharon Smith 5-10, and Marcia York 5-6.
