OLDTOWN — The Morning Glories held onto a razor-thin lead over Country Lane at the Lucky Ladies bowling matches here April 5. The league leaders’ record stands at 71-45, with Country Lane at 70-46 and Country Lane Sparklers just behind at 69-47. The Golden Girls follow in fourth place at 59-57, State Line Girls 45-71, and Ballsy Broads 31-37. Individual high scores went to Leeah Davis, who bowled a 205 high scratch game and 281 high handicap game, and Betty Balison, who bowled a 555 high scratch series and 687 high handicap series.

Converted splits included: Darlene Dinwoodie 2-7, 5-7, Liz Pope 3-10, Deb Hilzer 4-5, 5-7 and Laura O’Brien 4-5-7.
