Priest River athletes compete at Chattaroy

CHATTAROY, Wash. — Members of the Spartan track and field teams traveled to the Riverside Twilight Invite May 5. Girls track and field team standout Enara Seiler returned to competition and finished fourth in the 100m, seventh in the 200m, and eighth in the high jump. Sharnai Hogan came in 17th in the 1600m run, 27th in the shot put, and 35th in the discus. Christina Tefft finished 31st in the discus. Sarah Trantum tied for 11th place in the high jump. Cassidy Prudek earned 12th place in the long jump, followed by Chelsea Brown in 22nd place and Trantum in 28th place.

The boys 4x100m relay team of Robbie Anselmo, Corbin Maltba, Erik Moore, and Derrick Cook finished eighth in their competition. Caleb Gleason finished fifth in the 1600m, and Brandon McCracken finished eighth in the 800m. Colby Poe earned a third place finish in the discus with an attempt of 122’8, and came in eighth in the shot put. Maltba came in fourth with a 12’0 pole vault attempt. Drayven Ayers came in fifth in the high jump.
