Brower has served district well

I would encourage voters in Zone 4 to continue supporting their current representative, Mrs. Sandy Brower, for the position of Board Member for the West Bonner County School District. Having served on that board with Mrs. Brower for two years, I was very impressed with the leadership she provided to the district as we met educational, financial, staffing, and facilities challenges during a period of low funding by the state of Idaho.

Brower attends both regional and state educational sessions of the Idaho School Board Association where she learns about working together as a board, the latest state requirements for curriculum and funding, and how to make sound decisions to ensure we provide the best possible education for our students. It is no surprise that U.S. News & World Report presented our high school with an award for being one of the best high schools in Idaho while she has served as Chairwoman of the WBCSD Board.

Brower usually attends the ISBA sponsored “Day on the Hill” sessions in Boise each year where school board members and superintendents have the opportunity to observe the state education committees in both houses of the Legislature in session. She then has the opportunity to meet with our local state legislators to discuss issues related to education needs and concerns in WBCSD. I highly recommend that you vote for Mrs. Brower. She has been serving out district well for the last four years and I have every confidence she will continue to do so in the future.
