SANDPOINT — The Bonner County Sheriff’s Office is welcoming its newest addition to the force, Nova.

Nova is a black Labrador retriever from Pacific Coast K9 in Custer, Wash. Nova will be handled by Deputy Tom Cimbalik

Cimbalik and Nova are being congratulated for attaining state of Idaho certification as a narcotics-detection team.

“We are looking forward to many years of them working together for our great community,” Undersheriff Ror Lakewold said.
