Spartan football returns to practice field, invites new players

PRIEST RIVER — Are you ready for some football? Priest River Lamanna High School football practices have gotten underway this week! They take place 7:30-9:30 a.m. this week, then two weeks of two-a-day practices to follow from 7:30-9:30am and 4:30-6:30 p.m. leading up to the Spartans’ 2018 season opener at Thompson Falls Aug. 25th at 7 p.m.

Head coach Brad Martin invited any 9-12 graders who may come back to football or try it out for the first time, to show up at practice. Martin said, “We need to boost numbers in our football program,” and is determined to make 2018 a great season for Spartan football.
