PRIEST RIVER — After winning a hard-fought first game, the Spartans lost to Bonners Ferry in four games (29-27, 14-25, 17-25, 12-25) here Oct. 5. Emilee Clark and Natalie Randolph each notched 15 kills, plus Clark’s five blocks. Maggee Pankoke made 13 digs and Harlee Meek made an impressive 34 assists plus four aces. The Spartans went on the road and beat Kellogg in five games (18-25, 17-25, 25-21, 25-23, 15-13) Oct. 3. After losing the first two games, the Spartans eked out the next three thanks to Meek’s 28 assists and four aces, Randolph’s 11 kills and four aces, and Clark’s 19 digs and four blocks.
