Janice Margaret Brillon (Pearce) was born March 24, 1938 to William Pearce and Mary (Thompson) Pearce of Spring Valley, Wash. She went to her eternal rest Sept.13, 2010 at home surrounded by her family. Janice was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Matthew Stewart.

Janice was a successful business woman and worked in many fields. She was very creative and had many talents. She loved oil painting on canvas from a young age. She also painted ceramic old world santas. She spent many hours in extensive genealogy of her family and she loved history.  She loved to garden, cook and travel. Her favorite seasons were spring and autumn. Roses were her favorite flowers.

She is survived by her loving husband Louwellon R. Brillon of Roseburg, Ore., they were married for 54 years; her daughter Annette Rosenblad of Roseburg, her son, Jay Brillon and his wife Michelle Brillon of Sutherlin, Ore.; sisters Elaine Magvar of Spokane, Wash., Laura McNair and husband Tim McNair of Libby, Mont., also beloved Aunt Ruth Wright of Spokane; grandchildren; Anay Hausner and her husband Bruce Hausner of Sweet Home, Ore., Mark Rosenblad III of Portland, Ore., Aaron Grina of Sutherlin; great-grandchildren; Kascia Hausner of Sweet Home, Ore., Olivia (Coltin) Rosenblad of Roseburg, Ore., and Talia Stewart of Sutherlin. Also many loved nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins.

She will be missed by many, especially her beloved husband Lou and her family. She was a beautiful, devoted wife and mother. She was Lou’s best friend, companion and his first love.
