Hoisington, Edgar, Pope lead bowlers at Thursday Niters league

OLDTOWN - Area 51 holds a commanding lead after the teamís performance at the Thursday night bowling league here Oct. 26. The first-place squad stands at 22-10 with Wilkinson Rentals and Odds & Ends tied for second place at 16-16. Plain Nastyís, Hi-Rollers, and Vacant Team are tied for fourth place at 14-18.

Arlo Hoisington led the individual men with a 213 high scratch game, 531 high scratch series, and 247 high handicap game. Karl Greenís 670 high handicap series was best among the gentlemen, while Liz Popeís 617 took tops amongst the ladies. Pope also had a 425 high scratch series. Janice Edgar led the ladies with a 166 high scratch game and 225 high handicap game.

Plain Nastyís had a 659 high team scratch game, Area 51 scored a 902 high team handicap game and 2500 high team handicap series, and the Hi-Rollers had a 1856 high team scratch series.

Converted splits included: Hoisington 5-8-10, Gary Wilkinson 3-10, Kim Rusho 5-10, and Edgar 3-10.
