Woodwise, McCroskey Defense battle for loopers first

OLDTOWN - Gene Brown and Bill Wagner scored league highs at the loopers league here Oct. 25. Brown bowled a 231 high scratch game and 162 high handicap game, while Wagner earned a 588 high scratch series and 699 high handicap series. McCroskey Defense had the best team scratch game with a 718 effort. Their scratch series was also tops at 2082. Woodwise led the handicapped scoring with an 860 high team handicap game and 2479 high team handicap series.

Woodwise stands atop the league at 108.5-80.5, followed by McCroskey Defense at 105.5-83.5. Club Rio trails in third at 98-91, OK Lanes 96-90, Win/Lose We Booz 76.5-112.5, Why Try Harder 75.5-113.5, Pin Ups 46-17.
