OLDTOWN — Area 51 leads the Thursday Niters bowling league here with a 23-13 record after their matchups Nov. 1. Wilkinson Rentals stands in second place at 19-17, with the Hi-Rollers and Vacant Team tied for fourth at 18-18, Odds & Ends 16-20, and Plain Nasty’s 14-22.

Area 51 scored a 727 high team scratch game, 2026 high team scratch series, 901 high team handicap game, and 2548 high team handicap series. James Huling racked up a 232 high scratch game, 256 high handicap game, and 599 high scratch series among the men. Ralph LaGrand earned a 685 high men’s handicap series. Sharon Smith led the ladies with a 180 high scratch game, 238 high handicap game, and 459 high scratch series. Smith tied with Liz Pope at 633 for the women’s high handicap series.

Converted splits included: Karl Green 4-5-7, Kim Rusho 4-10.
