OLDTOWN - With No Pins Left Behind in first at 42-26 and Country Lane in second at 41-27, the ladies bowling league here is set for a competitive second half of the season. Results Jan. 3 put the two league leaders ahead of the rest of the pack composed of the Sparklers 35.5-32.5, Morning Glories 33.5-34.5, Golden Girls 26.5-41.5, and Balls-y Broads 25.5-34.5.

Kelly Jo Hilliard scored a 202 high scratch game and 251 high handicap game. Kim Rusho notched a 507 high scratch series, while Carol Becks’ 682 was best amongst handicap series scores. Liz Pope posted the second-highest handicap scores with a 236 handicap game and 642 handicap series. Converted splits included: Betty Balison 3-10, Sharon Clark 5-7-10, Debbie Hilzer 5-7, Vicki Nolting 3-10, Pat Shields 2-7, 8-9, 5-7, and Rusho 5-7.
