Denise (Bierman) Lacy, 58, passed away on June 27, 2015 after a long battle with cancer. Rosary will be said at 6 p.m. (MDT) on July 1 at St. William’s Catholic Church in Thompson Falls, Mont. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. (MDT) on July 2 at St. William’s Catholic Church with Fr. Jeff Benusa. Graveside Committal services and vault interment will be held at 11 a.m. (PDT) on July 3 at Evergreen Cemetery in Priest River, Idaho.

Kip (William) Madsen lost his hard fought battle with brain cancer on June 10, 2015. He wanted desperately to live, but said he didn’t fear death, and when the time came he went bravely and in peace, surrounded by the love of his family and his wife, Diane.

Richard “Dick” Hamacher passed away at his home with family and friends, May 11, 2015. He was born Nov.5, 1929 to Carl and Ruth (Wohld) Hamacher at his grandparents house in Camden, Washington. He was the oldest of four children.

Long-time San Diego resident, Stephen J. Rosinski passed away on April 5, 2015, in his hometown of Priest River, Idaho. He was born March 13, 1927 in Toledo, Ohio, one of four boys born to Stephen L. Rosinski and Agnes Barbara (Wietrzykowski) Rosinski.
John Elmer Bauer (Big John), 70, was born July 2, 1944, and passed away April 6 2015 from a two- year struggle with cancer.
William Fishburn Jemison, Jr. passed away April 10, 2015 in Littleton, Colo., at the age of 93. His wife of 69 years, Betty Jemison, was at his side with his children and grandchildren nearby. He served his country as an engineer in the Air Force during WWII and the Korean War. A Georgia Tech and University of Colorado alumni, he lead the way in computer technology, as a computer engineer in the early 50’s.
Jack Davis passed peacefully from this life the evening of April 10, 2015. He was surrounded and supported by his loving family and caregivers during the last days of his life .
Gene Founds died peacefully in his home in Blanchard, Idaho on April 6, 2015 at the age of 75.

Our Grandma, Betty Virginia Durfee (89) joined her Heavenly Father on April 6. Betty was born to Earl and Myrl Brannan on Jan. 15, 1926 in Casper, Wyoming. She moved to Albion, Idaho as a young girl where her parents owned and operated the local store. Betty developed a love of music from an early age as she was enamored by the music of her father’s fiddle. She loved listening to him practice and perform in a local band.
Robert “Bob” Harriman of Newport, Wash., passed away unexpectedly on March 26, 2015. He was 67 years old.

Cecil Lodge Wylie was born April 1, 1919 in Anaconda, Mont., and passed away on March 14, 2015 at the age of 95, just 14 days before his 96th birthday. Cecil was the third child of Samuel Merion Wylie and Anna Eva Lodge (Wylie). In 1933, the family of nine, three sisters and four brothers, including parents Sam and Anna, moved to the Grouse Creek area north of Sandpoint, Idaho and then to Priest River, Idaho. The youngest brother Frank was born after their move.

Raymond Leonard Greene passed away on Feb. 23, 2015. He was born March 11, 1935 in Granger, Wash. Ray was the son of William George Pretty Green and Ursula Ann Stuber. Ray is survived by his son and daughter- in- law, Ken and Beth Greene, son and daughter- in- law Ron and Debi Greene, daughter Cheryl Mills and son Jay Greene and Ray’s grandchildren Ian Greene, Brian Greene, Aaron Greene, Tricia and Dennis Kauffman and Lisa Mills. He is also survived by his sister Lilian Bryant and many nieces and nephews.
One of the most beloved men of Priest River, Idaho, Gean Edward Mickelson passed away in his home Feb. 20, 2015.

Fumiko (Amy) Mingay was born on Oct. 13, 1943 in her home town of Wakamatsu, Kitakyushu shi, Japan. After high school she moved to Mojiko, Japan where in 1969, she met and fell in love with her husband Brad of 43 years. She is survived by Brad, brother Nobuhiru Karasu and his family in Wakamatsu, her two daughters, Michelle and Kayoko and, their families Eric, Jess and Brayden.
Roger Allen Ward, 73, of Kamiah, Idaho passed away Feb. 6, 2015 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston, Idaho.
Ruth Heath, 91, of Spokane, Wash., peacefully passed away Feb. 8, 2015, surrounded by her family. She was born Dec 8, 1923, in Tacoma, Wash., to Russell and Rose Bell. In 1924 the family moved to Spokane where Ruth lived the majority of her life.
Eugene Louis Schetter, 75, a resident of Priest River, Idaho for 41 years, died Jan. 22, 2015 in Newport, Wash.
Rachel C. Cary, 96 years old, passed away Jan.17, 2015 at Tri-State Hospital in Clarkston, Wash., with family at her side.
Henry Esmond Bergdorf was born Sept. 30, 1916 at Cutbank, Mont., the second child of Henry and Esther Bergdorf. In 1923 they moved to Highwood where his father ran the grain elevator. Henry Esmond had fond memories of Montana. He and his brother, Charles, rode their ponies, shot Jack rabbits for dinner, and worked at neighboring ranches as soon as they were big enough.
Phillip D. Quinn, 84, of Spokane, Wash., passed away Jan. 9, 2015 in Spokane,Wash. Phillip was born in Priest River, Idaho on Sept. 26, 1930 to Edward H. Quinn and Goldie Mace. Phillip grew up surrounded by nature, family and friends on the Priest River.

Albert Leroy “Chub” Peterson, 79, resident of Oldtown, Idaho passed away on Jan. 2, 2015 at the North Idaho Advanced Care Hospital in Post Falls. Private family services have been held.
Danny Sheridan of Usk, Wash., passed away peacefully at home on Dec. 30, 2014. He was born Oct. 16, 1945 to Charlotte (Holmgren) and Bill Sheridan in Spokane, Wash. He grew up in the Cusick area and attended high school in Priest River. He was a medic during the Vietnam Conflict and served honorably 20 years in the US Navy retiring at the rank of Master Chief.
Ralph DeLorio Jr. 70, of Priest River, Idaho passed away peacefully with his family by his side Jan. 1, 2015. Ralph was born March 26, 1944 in Syracuse, N.Y .to Ralph and Carmella DeLorio, He was survived by his wife Bonnie (Mercier) DeLorio, and three sons Angelo(Yvonne) of Montana, Antonio of Montana, and Aldo of Washington.
Patricia Ann McCoy “Patty,” 64, of Priest River, Idaho passed away Dec. 26, 2014. Born on April 18, 1950, in Kellogg, Idaho., she was daughter to the late Harry and Mary Eustice. Patty graduated from Kellogg High School and studied to be an architect.
